Last night we were driving back roads and watching the sunset when we noticed a sign with an arrow that said “winery”. Being from Springdale we we’re a little surprised that we hadn’t heard of this before, so we decided to follow the signs. We were blown away when we pulled up to this jaw-dropping space. Sassafras Springs Vineyard is a remodeled milk barn with an amazing atmosphere! We were lucky enough to catch the opening night of this new winery. There was great music, beautiful displays of foods and cheeses and some darn good wine. They’re open again tonight from 6-9pm with more live music and food! 6461 E. Guy Terry Road in Springdale (past Saddlebock Brewery off Habberton Rd.). Go check them out!
