During the 2017-2018 school year we had the opportunity to partner with the Springdale High School Mentorship Program. This wonderful program partners community members and staff with high school students to provide them with positive and supportive mentorship. They host meetings each week after school to provide a space for the students and their mentors to hang out, eat, and when we’re involved….make something!
We partnered with our friends over at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History to install the painted fish overlooking Spring Creek in downtown Springdale. The pops of color and visual interest created a beautiful installation that the students and mentors are proud to see out in the public eye.
UPDATE: The Shiloh Museum underwent a significant landscaping upgrade along Spring Creek in the spring of 2019. Unfortunately, the fish had to come down when the chain link fence was replaced.
